Our company closely co-operates with metrology institutes and normalising organisations in our country as well as abroad. Permanent and very good co-operation is established with ČMI in Czech Republic, SMU in Slovakia as well as Goststandard in Russia operating in Russian federation.
AUTHORISED METROLOGICAL CENTRE
Company MATTECH s.r.o. (Ltd.) has its own Authorised metrology centre accredited to ensure metrologyl verifications of meter tubes fitted with centric orifice plate, nozzle and Venturi tube. Our authorisation is valid not only for verification of own production line of meters (centric orifice plate, nozzles and Venturi tubes), but for verifications of meters on basis of flow throttling with valid Pattern approval of other domestic as well as foreign producers. This way customers obtain primarily verified meter with Document of verification. Activities and functioning of our AMS is documented in AMS quality manual. In 2003 readiness of our AMS for the entry of Czech Republic to EU was verified by ČMI audit which was crowned by new authorisation document.
With implementation of ISO 5167 standard in the turn of 1992/93 Mattech's flow meter was accredited with first Pattern approval by SMU and subsequently by ČMI - fluid flow meter with throttling devices for flow measurement in the range dependent on type of primary element from DN 50 to DN 1200. It is so called pattern approval TSQ 142/93-001 valid in Slovak Republic and TCM 142/93-1631 valid in Czech Republic. During 1994-2000 these pattern approvals were extended by two annexes on use of Venturi tubes and individual centric orifice plates or nozzles. In 2003 Mattech obtained ČMI pattern approval for flow meter with segment orifice plate for measurement of fluid flow with higher content of impurities from DN to DN 500.
During 2003 ISO 5167 standard was revised and since 1st December 2003 it has been valid in current version. Since then the production of new meters on basis of throttling flow has been governed by this revised standard.
The meter is verified by measuring geometric dimensions of plate event. meter tube and piping sections in front of and behind orifice plate. Validity of such verification is defined by regulation no. 345/2002 Col. in valid version. In compliance with particular pattern approval on the meter there is placed metrology seal and meter identification. On request document of verification can be issued. When validity of verification expires, we are offering our customers further metrologyl verification on meter with valid pattern approval on basis of throttling flow. If the meter dimensions comply with ISO 5167, it would be given new valid document of verification. If the meter does not comply, we would issue document of rejection or after discussion with customer we could make new plate event. the whole meter tube including new verification.
