QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
In 2001 there was implemented and successfully certified quality management system in compliance with ISO 9001 – 2000 by the British company Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance. This system was in 2004 verified by the third successful audit by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance in 2004.

PRESSURE EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURE
There was implemented quality management system for design and manufacture of pressure equipment in accordance with European Parliament directive PED 97/23/EC.
Following conformity assessment modules were assigned to MATTECH by the British company Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance:

• Module A1 (internal manufacturing checks with monitoring of the final assessment)

• Module H (full quality assurance)

PATTERN APPROVAL – TCM 142/93–1631 and TSQ 142/93-001

In the turn of 1992/1993 we have implemented ISO 5167-1 international standard. SMU and subsequently also ČMI issued first pattern approval for meters measuring quantity of fluid „MATTECH“, i.e. for the fluid flow meter with throttling devices for measurement of flow according to used type of primary elements within the range DN 50-DN 1200. These were pattern approvals TSQ 142/93-001 which is valid in Slovak Republic and TCM 142/93-1631 valid for Czech Republic. During 1994-2000 these pattern approvals were extended by the form of annexes to pattern approvals concerning use of Venturi tubes and independent centric orifice plates or nozzles. During 2003 ISO 5167 standard was revised and since 1st December 2003 this standard has been valid in the latest version. Since then production of meters functioning on basis of flow throttling has been governed by the revised standard.

In 2000 the company MATTECH was granted annex no. 2 to the pattern approval TCM 142/93-1631 by ČMI for the independent centric orifice plate for fluid flow measurement from DN 50 to DN 1000.
 

PATTERN APPROVAL – TCM 142/03 – 3851

In 2003 company MATTECH was granted pattern approval TCM 142/03-3851 by ČMI for the flow meter with integrated centric orifice plate from DN 15 to DN 50. During 2003 ISO 5167 standard was revised and since the 1st December has been valid in latest version. Since then the production of new meters on basis of flow throttling is governed by this standard.


 

PATTERN APPROVAL – TCM 142/04 – 4079

In 2004 company MATTECH was granted pattern approval TCM 142/04-4079 for the flow meter with segment orifice plate for measurement of fluid flows from DN 50 to DN 1400.
 

AUTHORIZED METROLOGY CENTRE

Company MATTECH s.r.o. (Ltd.) has its own metrology centre accredited to ensure verifying of meter tubes with centric orifice plate, nozzle and Venturi tubes. Our authorisation is valid not only for verification of our own production line of meters (centric orifice plates, nozzles and Venturi tubes), but also for verification of meters on basis of throttling of flow with valid pattern approval of other national and foreign products. This way customers can obtain primarily verified meter with „documents of verification“. Activities and operation of our AMS is documented in the AMS quality manual. Preparation of our AMS for joining of Czech Republic to EU was verified in 2003 by ČMI audit and crowned with new authorisation document.
