Production programme of MATTECH company also
includes fittings with direct relation to the measurement of flow-rate
quantity. Condensing vessels are used in measurement of steam flow-rate
circles. Its task is to ensure continuous fillings of pulsating
piping by steam condensate in the same height. Therefore the
condensing vessels are placed directly into the taping points of the
orifice plates so that these were in horizontal position. This way
error of measurement of additional pressure differential is
eliminated, which would otherwise arise as a consequence of
different inlet heights. Their large inside volume guarantees
minimal deviation of condensate level having adverse influence on
accuracy of measurement. If primary elements and condensing vessels
are installed in vertical piping, it is necessary to install both
condensing vessels on the same level, preferably on the level of
upper taping. All vessels are certified and pattern approved.

DUAL CONDENSING VESSEL
DN10 PN100/III TYPE M24.11
Condensing vessel is designed for working pressure PN 100,
working degree III. On the inlet side there is a sleeves for
welding and on the outlet side there are valves coupled to the
vessel by cap nuts. Outlets are ended by sleeves for welding-in.
Pressure 10Mpa, temperature up to 200°C, pressure 8Mpa,
temperature up to 300 °C, 6.4MPa under up to 400°C. Construction
of the vessel ensures unambiguous keeping the same level in both
chambers. |

SEPARATION VESSELS
Separation Vessels are designed to prevent the measurand’s
contact with the meter. These vessels contain the fluid (such as
glycol), which separates the measured fluid from the fluid in
the meter. It can be used in cases when measured fluid is
corrosive, very viscous or if it is able to freeze, congeal or
condensate in the pulsating pipe. Separation vessels should be
installed in the same level as nearest to pressure taping as
possible. Separation vessel consists of cylindrical vessel with
particular valve. So that it could be mounted in the piping, it
is equipped with pipe coupling for welding.
Separation Vessels are made from:
If required, it is possible to supply dual
vessels. |

MUD DISCHARGE VESSELS
Mud discharge vessels are often needed for installations with
fluids and gases. In case of gases (air) mud discharge vessels
are especially appropriate if measured medium is humid or impure.
In case of fluid flow these are necessary due to considerable
amounts of driven solid substances which might clog the
pulsating piping. Mud discharge vessel has a cylindrical shape
and it is finished by half-spherical bottom. Its inlet is in the
upper part and outlet in the cylindrical body. Lower outlet is
used for mud discharge and it is equipped by closing (stop)
valve.
