DN 200 segmental orifice plate – working meter

Restriction of flow section of the measured fluid is ensured by circle segment (plate with direct sharp edge in the circle section). When orienting flow section in the lower part of horizontal (oblique) piping, flow of impurities in the measured fluid is enabled. Differential pressure tapings are placed vertically in the upper part of orifice plate. Segmental orifice plate can be supplied separately with differential pressure tapings as working meter without verification or including straight piping sections as verified meter.

In spring 2004 company MATTECH obtained pattern approval TCM 142/04-4079 for flow meter with segmental orifice plate for measurement of fluid flow from DN 50 to DN 1400 by ČMI.

Use: for fluids with impurities or condensates from PN 6 to PN 100

B section of meter tube in length of 2D (symbol D indicates inner diameter of piping) in front of orifice plate is separated from A and C section by flange connection. The length of section A+B is 10D, length of C section is 5D. DN 50-DN 150 are supplied with segmental orifice plate with corner pressure taping in the flange.

B section of meter tube in length of 2D ( symbol D indicates inner diameter of piping) in front of orifice plate is connected to C section (2D long) by a flange connection between which there is placed centric orifice plate (see picture). Due to reducing weight of meter tube A section is not supplied by our company and it makes part of usual piping. This section can be supplied on request. For DN 150-DN 1400 we deliver segment orifice plate with corner pressure taping in the flange.
